Why Trump Won
A Summarized break down of the greatest once-in-a-lifetime political comeback in American history
We are now officially four days and one wake up away until America enters its official Golden Age. It is still so surreal to think that Trump won again. Like he actually did it!!! He beat Grover Cleveland’s 132 year long streak haha. While I am eternally grateful for the efforts of Americans all over the country for casting their vote for him, I am not sure most people regardless of political affiliation understand why he won. I think that most Americans understand to an extent, but neglect that there was an interconnected web of variables that helped make this election possible. That is precisely what I want to dive into today.
The Lawfare
Arguably the most unprecedented aspect within the first half of the election cycle. For years we have constantly heard Trump going on about how “this system is rigged”, “they’re out to get me”, and a lot of us just laughed it off. Even some who are supporters of him. It was not until over the Spring and Summer of 2023, where Trump was officially facing not one, not two, but four indictments in three different states plus Washington, DC.
All of these charges were 100% without a doubt Trumped-up charges, no pun intended lol. I am going to write future articles on each case explaining why all of the charges were absolutely bogus. Had each of these trials been absolutely successful, Trump would have faced a fate of over 700 years behind bars following utter sham trials. Not to mention have to pay nearly $500 million dollars in that Because these Democrat District Attorney’s chose to indict him right after he announced his re-election campaign, to a lot of voters that did validate the narrative Trump was indeed being politically persecuted.
Even pollsters like Frank Luntz saw the writings on the wall all the way back in March of 2024.
We Beat the Fraud
A lot of Trump supporters were very concerned about the idea of us seeing a replay of the 2020 election. That we would see a surprise spike in ballot dumps at 2 in the morning, key swing states would take weeks to count, and Harris would win each of those states within a thousand vote margin. Fortunately, throughout 2024 the Republican National Committee and other election integrity groups were able to achieve multiple victories that directly combatted opportunities of election fraud occurring:
Questioning Elections qualifies as Free Speech: Election integrity group ‘True the Vote’ defeats Stacey Abrams and the Biden DOJ in a landmark election case after a federal judge ruled it did not violate the Voting Rights Act with its efforts to challenge the eligibility of over 364,000 Georgia voters before the 2021 Senate runoffs. This ruling is significant because it sets legal precedent that recognizes:
Citizens of the United States have legal protection to question election results under First Amendment law.
The legally recognized precedent of protection will encourage more citizens to get involved protecting election integrity.
Signature Verification required in Pennsylvania: The RNC had a victory in Pennsylvania in a ruling by an appellate panel of three Democratic-appointed judges, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals made a 2-1 ruling that overturned a previous ruling from a federal district court that struck down the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s 2022 ruling that required a “dated signature requirement” for mail-in voting.
Wisconsin banned Zuckerbucks: Two election integrity measures passed in Wisconsin: Question 1, which bans the use of private funds—like Zuckerbucks—to conduct elections, and the second—Question 2—specifies “only election officials designated by law” can administer elections. The former amendment will result in immediate statewide changes to how elections are funded. The latter is already WI law, but would be added to the state constitution, making it harder to repeal.
Georgia passed Election Integrity laws: Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed THREE huge election integrity bills into law today. Election fraudster Marc Elias is pissed which means this is great news for election integrity. Those three bills included:
HB 974: Adds watermarks to ballots, displays ballot pictures online, requires more audits of statewide elections and uses technology to verify the accuracy of text on ballots.
HB 1207: Requires election workers to be U.S. citizens, allows fewer voting machines on election days, guarantees poll watchers close access and allows candidates to proof ballots for errors.
SB 189: Changes rules for mass voter challenges, eliminates computer QR codes from ballots, adds ballot security procedures and eases requirements for third-party presidential candidates to appear on Georgia ballots.
Public Records Requests in PA: A Pennsylvania court issued a MASSIVE ruling declaring that the digital images of completed absentee and mail-in ballots are PUBLIC RECORD. This means that after the November election, voters and candidates can obtain the original images for inspection
Public Records Requests in GA: The Georgia Supreme Court unanimously ruled in Milliron v. Antonakakis states that private contractors working for the government are also subject to public records requests. This means citizens can now obtain evidence from companies involved in elections like Dominion [voting machines].
Securing the AZ Vote: The US Supreme Court has just voted to REINSTATE a provision from an Arizona statute that requires voter applicants to provide documentary proof-of-citizenship when getting registered to vote. This overruled the decisions from the lower court judges in the Ninth Circuit who blocked the law. From here on out, proof of citizenship will now be required for new voters using a state voter registration form. You can read the full Supreme Court Order here.
Only Properly Dated Ballots Count in PA: The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that undated and misdated mail-in ballots CANNOT be counted this time. This ruling fortunately reversed the ridiculous previous ruling made by the Commonwealth Court saying that they would count. A major victory for election integrity. You can read the Opinion of the PA Supreme Court here.
Signature Verification on PA Ballot Envelopes: The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that ballots cast without a signature on the envelope will NOT be counted in the 2024 election. This ruling arrived a few days after the previous ruling by the Court that only properly dated ballots can be counted. You can read the Opinion of the PA Supreme Court here.
Securing the Vote in VA: The United States Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to allow Virginia to remove noncitizens from its voting rolls, lifting an order that halted the program. You can read a summary analysis from this tweet. You can read the full Supreme Court Order here.
The Voter Blocs that Made this Election
One of the biggest things that I believe stands out among Trump’s campaign this year is because of the group of people endorsing him and intending to vote for him for the first time that are not the typical life-long cookie cutter conservative Republican types. Over the last year we have seen a mass exodus of key demographics shift to the right to endorse President Trump.
The Teamsters
Representing 1.3 Million members, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters have led a major shift in Union workers straying away from the Democratic Party. President-elect Trump met with Teamsters President Sean O’Brien multiple times on the campaign trail. To which President O’Brien was eventually made the keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention. That was the first time in the Union’s history they spoke at the RNC, and their President made a very strong pro-Union argument to the GOP voter base.
Eventually the Teamsters decided not endorse either candidate. HOWEVER, internal pollings from the Teamsters themselves proved almost 60% (750K+ members) chose to back Trump over Harris.

Silicon Valley
Historically, Silicon Valley has been known to be a massive apparatus in campaign contributions for the Democratic Party. However, throughout this election cycle a shift in the overton window has been pushed in the Right direction where prominent leaders in the Tech sector are endorsing Trump after years of contributing to Democratic campaigns.
Those people include individuals like Shaun Maguire, Doug Leone, David Sacks, Tyler & Cameron Winklevoss, Elon Musk, Bill Ackman, and David Marcus’s open endorsement could possibly be a microcosm of a potential seismic shift in the political discourse in Silicon Valley behind the scenes. This is evidently the case as companies Zuckerberg’s Meta appears to be rolling back on their longtime censorship policies.
The Amish
When it came to winning Pennsylvania, the Amish were arguable the most important voting bloc for Trump to win the Commonwealth. A grassroots effort in Pennsylvania, led by local Republican activists, mobilized Amish voters to support Donald Trump in the 2024 election. Historically low Amish voter turnout was partly due to weddings traditionally held on Tuesdays, including Election Day. Organizers launched “Operation Help Thy Neighbor,” offering rides from Amish weddings to polling stations. Using flyers, phone banks, and community connections, they helped transport around 26,000 Amish voters, significantly increasing turnout in rural areas.
The Amish were motivated by shared values like limited government and religious freedom, further galvanized by government overreach, such as FDA raids on local farms. While their votes alone didn’t decide Pennsylvania’s results, the rural turnout surge played a key role. Organizers continue efforts to engage the Amish in future elections. Scott Presler, another prominent Conservative activist led the charge to deliver Trump Pennsylvania and worked endlessly to court the Amish vote. This was especially proven to be true in the county of Lancaster, as well as multiple other Amish counties all over the Commonwealth.
Libertarian Voters
Historically in the last few presidential elections, the Libertarian voter turnout would represent about 3% of the national electorate. Back in May of this year, President Trump attended the Libertarian National Convention, the first President to ever do so, as well as the first ever to speak at a convention for an opposing political party. George gave the best summary of the significance of the speech he gave:
What you just watched with Trump's speech at the Libertarian Convention is the Art of the Deal in real life.
That wasn't a speech, that was a high IQ negotiation by Trump. He didn't go up there expecting to be loved, he went up there to get something for himself knowing he had to give something in return.
Trump had at least two leverage cards in his back pocket that would be pulled at the right moments.
He crafted his speech around typical Libertarian talking points and did not allow the boos to deter him, in fact, those Libertarians now look incredibly odd for booing what seems to be their own talking points.
He didn't react to the crowd's booing right off, he kept his eyes on getting to the first point but he made them work & wait to hear it. Right as the booing was reaching its climax, he told them he needed their vote (of course they booed) but he told them he would appoint a Libertarian in his cabinet. Now, how hypocritical would it be for a Libertarian to not want that, that definitely shut some people up but not all.
Next, he went a step further by asking them to make him their Presidential nominee, but was that really a joke or just more high IQ play? After that he told them they couldn't win without him, now he has introduced the concept of winning in their minds. For that crowd winning was getting Ross Ulbricht freed, their posters had nothing to do with winning an election, the place was filled with "Free Ross" banners & chants. Trump must've recognized this before the convention and made it his big card.
After putting everything in place for the big ask he simply said, "If you vote for me, I will free Ross Ulbricht." And the crowd that had been booing him uprupted in cheers. Trump knew exactly what that meant for them. He put the ball back into their hands, he's giving them what they want (Free Ross) if they choose to give him what he wants (Votes).
The Art of the Deal by Donald J. Trump
President Trump’s deal with libertarians is considered one of the biggest wins in breaking the barriers of the two-party system. President Trump’s pledge to Libertarians to add libertarian cabinet positions, protecting bitcoin, stopping Central Bank Digital Currency, pledging to Commute Ross Ulbricht’s sentence on Day 1 is much bigger than any candidate like Gary Johnson or Jo Jorgenson could deliver. This has led to some of the biggest voices in Libertarian politics to shift the overton window and pledge to vote Republican for the first time ever for Donald Trump. Among those include:
Jeremy Kauffman, the founder of the LBRY project that created free speech/censorship resistant YouTube alternative Odysee (pronounced like Odyssey), which I have been using for the last 4 years.
Ron Rule, the former CEO of As Seen On TV.
Tarl Warwick aka Styxhexenhammer666, an ex-Satanist turned Christian and YouTuber dedicated to media analyst and political commentary
The Free Ross Campaign, one of the largest grassroots campaigns to freeing political prisoner Ross Ulbricht.
Martha Bueno, a Florida politician that ran for Miami-Dade Commission.
Darren Mark Stallcup, a San Francisco resident and founder of the World Peace Movement, one of the largest grassroots political movements in California.
Dave Smith, comedian and host of the “Part of the Problem” podcast and member of the LP’s Mises Caucus.
Jon Caldara the President of the Independence Institute.
Thomas Massie, U.S. House Representative from Kentucky, and the only Libertarian-Republican in federal office.
Jacob Winograd, host of the Biblical Anarchy Podcast.
Being Libertarian, independent Libertarian content media.
The Libertarian Party of New Hampshire, the first major political party to endorse Trump’s re-election not affiliated with the Republican Party.
Generation Z
Consisting of 45% of the national electorate, Generation Z now represent the largest voting bloc in U.S. history. Winning the Youth vote was a top demographic Trump needed to win over. With the close aide of his youngest son Barron, President Trump was able to get keysight on how to campaign to Gen Z voters in a relatable, but non-pandering manner.
Probably the most successful example of this stemmed from Trump’s “podcast tour”, taking interviews with the freshest faces of new media that many young people watched online. That certainly paid off given how viral each episode went. Those podcast interviews included:
Tim Pool / Timcast IRL: 1.1 Million Views
Impaulsive: 6.8 Million Views
Adin Ross: 2.8 Million Views
This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von: 15 Million Views
The Shawn Ryan Show: 3.8 Million Views
The Lex Fridman Podcast: 7.4 Million Views
The Dave Ramsey Show: 4.5 Million Views
The Flagrant Podcast: 9.1 Million Views
Full Send Podcast: 3.3 Million Views
Bussin’ with the Boys: 470 Thousand Views
The PBD Podcast: 3.1 Million Views
The Joe Rogan Experience: 54 Million Views
Then there was the plethora of celebrity endorsements that announced their support for President Trump’s re-election bid. For the longest time it has been deemed taboo for Hollywood to be open about supporting Trump, let aligning with Conservative politics. Thanks to the influence of Gen Z, many influencers that they look up helped influence their vote. This included famous stars like Amber Rose, Adin Ross, Bryce Hall, Mika Lafuente, Jake Paul, Lil Pump, Waka Flocka Flame, Antonio Brown, Alexa Dellanos, Nick Shirley, and FaZe Banks.
The RFK / Independent Voters
Robert F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign, from start to finish, served as a symbol of the trying to reclaim power of a former America, much like Trump’s campaign that returned power to the populace. His campaign was also significant because he personally shifted the overton window in entering “forbidden territory” of political discourse: Issues like corruption in the CIA, the rise of the Military-Industrial Complex, Operation Mockingbird, the slow death march of people around the world over Endocrine Disruptors, and the adverse effects of vaccines and other products created from Big Pharma.
While it's true that a majority of Pro-RFK Independents could have potentially taken votes more away from Trump than Biden/Harris, it's extremely important to know that RFK himself is by-and-largely not Right Wing. However, as the current administration combined with the social political climate, a lot prominent individuals that have historically been on the Left like Joe Rogan, June Lapine (Shoe0nHead), Glenn Greenwald, Michael Shellenberger Dr. Bret Weinstein, Dr. Robert Malone, and Tulsi Gabbard have long felt disenfranchised by the Democratic Party because of how far Left it has shifted with its Hyper-Progressivism.
Especially since their core values (pro-natural health, pro-freedom of speech, pro-Unions, anti-censorship, anti-war, anti-monopolization, anti-A.I.), have not halted. As a matter of fact, this has for the most part shifted Trump’s campaign and his personal world-view. The fact that Trump has also recently put RFK and Tulsi as honorary co-chairs of his transition team and leading his advice for future appointees is very telling that Trump truly wants to work the best of everyone on all sides, creating a unified that is genuinely putting Americans First. Trump kept his word on this after he won the election, nominating RFK to Secretary of HHS, and Tulsi as the Director of the ODNI.
The Moral of the Story
In the end, it was a multitude of factors that played into Trump’s once-in-a-lifetime victory. All of this can also be summarized into more simpler terms—Trump just ran a better campaign. One that the Democrats just could not even compare to. More importantly it was Trump’s campaign was ultimately superior because he took the time to correct from his mistakes from his previous race back in 2020. The 2024 campaign was a unity campaign, pledging to deliver a more thriving America ran by a coalition government of diverse perspectives having a seat at the table next to Trump. Scott Presler summarized it best in his final Tweet before we won the election.
